UPDATE ON THE STATUS OF THE MILGAARD APPLICATION FOR AN ACCOMMODATION

Today, the Commission began hearing an application on behalf of David Milgaard for an accommodation to testify. The evidence associated with the application is expected to continue tomorrow morning and may be completed by noon. The timing of the Commissioner’s decision on the matter is not yet known.

The Commission then intends to call Rusty Chartier and Dr. James Ferris for the balance of the day. Dr. Ferris’ evidence will continue on Wednesday and it is likely that Calvin Tallis will not take the stand until Thursday as originally planned.
