MEDIA ADVISORY January 17, 2006 HEARING DATE SET FOR MILGAARD APPLICATION On Wednesday, January 25 and Thursday, January 26, 2006, Commissioner MacCallum will hear David Milgaard’s application for an accommodation to testify in a format other than appearing in person before the Commission. This hearing will include the testimony of Dr. Patrick Baillie and Mr. Joel Grymaloski, witnesses who have both provided an opinion on the affect that testifying will have on Mr. Milgaard. Counsel for Mr. Milgaard, Hersh Wolch, will lead the evidence of the witnesses and those parties who oppose the application, and who can demonstrate that their interest is engaged, will have a right to cross examine the witnesses. The hearing will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Battleford Room of the Delta Bessborough Hotel in Saskatoon. For
