Description:

Title: Special Warrants – Education ($66,374,000); Provincial Capital Commission ($371,000) and Corrections, Public Safety and Policing ($20,000,000)

Minister: Minister of Education; Minister Responsible for the Provincial Capital Commission; Minister of Corrections, Public Safety and Policing and Minister of Finance

Summary: On the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, and pursuant to the reports provided by the responsible members of Executive Council that there is no appropriation for the expense or that the appropriation is exhausted or insufficient and that the expense is urgently and immediately required for the public good, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders a special warrant to be prepared for the signature of the Lieutenant Governor providing for the expenditure in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2012, of the following amounts totaling $86,745,000:
