Title: Declare Foreign National Workers for the Purposes of The Saskatchewan Medical Care Insurance Act

Summary: Orders:

(a) that a foreign national worker who is participating in the Ministry of Advanced Education, Employment and Immigration’s Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program and whose application for permanent residence in Canada/Saskatchewan is being supported by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Employment and Immigration is declared to be a resident for the purposes of The Saskatchewan Medical Care Insurance Act during the period that his or her application for permanent residence in Canada/Saskatchewan is being adjudicated by Citizenship and Immigration Canada; and

(b) that the spouse and dependent children of a foreign national workers mentioned in clause (a) whose names are included on the application for permanent residence in Canada/Saskatchewan mentioned in clause (a) are declared to be residents for purposes of The Saskatchewan Medical Care Insurance Act during the period that the application for permanent residence in Canada/Saskatchewan is being adjudicated by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
