Summary: On filing date, these regulations (RRS A-20.2 Reg 13) will repeal and replace The Saskatchewan Egg Regulations. The general purpose of The Saskatchewan Egg Regulations was to licence persons dealing in egg and egg products. The regulations define grade standards; prescribe the manner and conditions of grading, inspection, packaging, marketing, advertising, branding and labeling; prescribe the standards of construction of equipment, maintenance and operation of facilities; and outline methods for the reporting of, and paying for, eggs and egg products.
