Title: Regina Police Service Funding Agreement for $3,315,000 – Targeted Policing Initiatives (2009-2010 Fiscal Year)

Summary: Orders that the Minister of Corrections, Public Safety and Policing is approved to enter into the Agreement, on behalf of the Government of Saskatchewan, substantially in the form of the attached Schedule A, with the Regina Police Service whereby the Government agrees to provide funding in the amount of $3,315,000 for the period from April 1, 2009 to March 31, 2010 to continue to provide a Serious and Habitual Offender Comprehensive Action Plan Program, an Organized/Serious Crimes Task Force Program, a Provincial Enhancement of Community Policing Program, a Missing Persons Task Force Program, an Internet Child Exploitation Program and to implement an Enhanced Investigative Policing Program in the City of Regina.
