Summary: On February 13, 2010, these regulations will amend RRS A-35 Reg 4 to:
- reduce the minimum period for which an individual can purchase a certificate of insurance from 89 days to 28 days;
- update the monthly payment plan for a certificate of insurance by removing the requirement for a 1 month down payment and establishing a down payment that is pro-rated to the first withdrawal date;
- provide for a new 8-day permit for vehicles in addition to the current 24-hour permit; and
- provide for a $10 miscellaneous fee where services are requested and no fee is set out in regulations.
