Title: Community-Based Organization Grants for $579,000 – Health and Fire Inspections or Physical Requirements of The Child Care Act (2008-2009 Fiscal Year)

Summary: Authorize the Minister of Education to provide grants, to the organizations and in the amounts listed on Schedule A attached hereto, in a total amount not to exceed $579,000, for the period April 1, 2008 to March 31, 2009, to assist with the costs of renovations or new construction, to meet the requirements resulting from health and fire inspections or to meet the physical requirements as set out in The Child Care Act and The Child Care Regulations, 2001.
