Title: Grant Payments to Gold Eagle, Bear Claw, Northern Lights, Painted Hand, BATC and Dakota Dunes Community Development Corporations (Fourth Quarter of 2007-2008 Fiscal Year) - $4,212,465

Minister: Minister of First Nations and Métis Relations

Summary: Further to Your Honour’s Orders 197/2000 (March 30, 2000); 255/2001 (March 27, 2001); 715/2004 (November 3, 2004); 860/2004 (December 21, 2004) and 798/2007 (October 2, 2007), authorize the Minister of First Nations and Métis Relations to provide grants for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2007-2008 to or with respect to Gold Eagle Community Development Corporation, Bear Claw Community Development Incorporated, Northern Lights Community Development Corporation, Painted Hand Community Development Corporation, BATC Community Development Corporation and Dakota Dunes Community Development Corporation in accordance with the agreement between the Government of Saskatchewan and the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations, and in accordance with any terms and conditions that the Minister may prescribe, in order to establish social and economic development programs and policies for Indian and Native people, in amounts not to exceed:

Bear Claw Community Development Incorporated $24,577
Northern Lights Community Development Corporation $2,159,891
Painted Hand Community Development Corporation $782,062
BATC Community Development Corporation $989,213
Dakota Dunes Community Development Corporation $256,722
