Title: Boards of Education Grant for $209,000 – Prekindergarten Programs for Vulnerable Preschool Children (2008-2009 Fiscal Year)

Summary: Authorize the Minister of Education to provide a grant, in an amount not to exceed $209,000, for the period April 1, 2008 to March 31, 2009, to the following Boards of Education to operate four Prekindergarten programs for vulnerable preschool children:

The Board of Education of the South East Cornerstone School Division No. 209 of Saskatchewan – Weyburn - $52,250 and Estevan - $52,250;

The Board of Education of the Chinook School Division No. 211 of Saskatchewan – Swift Current - $52,250; and

The Board of Education of the North East School Division No. 200 of Saskatchewan – Melfort - $52,250
